Exception to the rule???

I have had this Crocea on the bottom of my tank under lots of VHO for about 7-months now. I tried to put it up on the rocks closer to the lights many times when I first got it, but it kept jumping/falling off. So it has been on the sand since practically the beginning. Do you think it is going to make it or is 7-months still too early to tell? Thanks.

It looks fine. I think if there was a problem, you would have seen something by now.

I agree. Leave it where it is. It appears to be doing fine.

Abosolutely! From the pic it looks like a very happy healthy clam. I would leave it be. Clams tend to let you know very quickly that they aren't happy.

7 months is plenty of time. You would have seen something by now.

It looks happy as a "clam". I agree to leave it for now. The only suggestion I would offer is to place a flat piece of LR rubble under the clam, burried in the substrate, so it will have a place to attach its foot. They can expend a lot of energy searching for something to latch onto.
