Fairmount silica sand anyone??

Anyone ever use fairmount silica sand for there sand bed. It is the only stuff that I think might work that we have around where I live. I just need to know if it would work. It is silica based so I am not sure. Can't find southdown anywhere

southdown is very seasonal. You likely won't find it again until next spring at the earliest.

As far as the fairmount silica, I believe as long as it's steralized and pure silica your ok, whatever brand it is.
