fan filter feeders

i have a cycled 29 gallon tank with some live rock, zoas , button polyps, shrooms, i was wondering on average do fan filter feeders reproduce quicly, i put a rock in there with 2 or3 and i was just wondering how often or how quickly do they usually reproduce, i wanted to have them growing on other lr as well

You have to have nutrients in the water column to support them. Feeding phytoplankton will help but the drawbacks of phyto outweigh the positives IMO
