Feather dusters

Recently bought a feather duster. I gotta say I love this thing, but I have a couple questions about it. First off, I was trying to determine the species, I looked online and I thought it was Hawaiian but then I saw another site that contradicted it so now I'm not sure. I have uploaded a picture if anyone can help me in identifying it. Also, I would like to have more than one, can they be grouped with others of the same? And how do they reproduce?

Updated question: I looked into my tank today and found my turbo snail crawling all over my feather duster. Should I be worried that it may damage my duster in any way?
