I have had my open brain coral for about a week and a half now and tonight i fed it a peice of krill. I took the shell off of it and placed it on his feeding tenticles. He like grabed it out of my hand. It was the coolest thinng i have ever seen in my entire life. Now i have a couple questions.

How often do i feed it?

And do they only stick there tenticles out when they are hungry?

Becasue after i fed it his tenticles are still out and he looks very bloated. Is this normal?

Any input would be great.

Thanks
Brandon

I have had my open brain for about two months and never saw his tentacles until last week! I quickly fed him a small piece of shrimp. It was very cool. I have not seen his tentacles out since. I figure I will just keep an eye on him and feed him when he is hungary!!! Mine also looked bloated after he ate. It is stange how they can alter their appearance from a small shriveled coral to all bloated!!!
