filter sock holder?

I'm changing my sump style from wet/dry to sump and looking at buying a sock holder. Does anyone know what would be the appropriate sock size for a regular 20 gallon sump? I was thinking a small. Also, is there any particular brand I should buy? Shopping on Amazon and see a couple different brands without any reviews.

I have a 4 inch sock holder in my 14g sump and find it too small. lol i am planning on going up to a 7 inch at some point. The 4 inch ones are really really narrow and I figure will have to be changed quite frequently so the 7 inch might be a better deal.
