Aquarium Advice Freak
I orderd a bulk of 1000 crestations online. What I recieved are the blue pieces of filter sponge with them all over the place. The directions that came with them said you can take the pieces and pinch them under rock in your main display, hidden, and leave them there indefinatly.
I took my pieces and slid them in my sump as thats where I wanted them all to go. Its been about 3 weeks now, and I see the crestations all over the place in all 3 of my tanks. Yet I still see them crawling in the sponges down below. Should I take the sponges out? Ive herd nothing but bad about any sponge in the tank unless you clean them. These have these little guys all over the place so I havent cleaned them yet. Any way I can get them off the sponge?
