I finally finished the new Aquascape for my Clownfish reef. Features some Marco Rock that I had for about 9 months plus some new rock. Used epoxy and acrylic rods to make sure of no rock slides. 65 pounds of Tropic Eden Live Sand, Eshopps psk-100H, 2 Mp10's and more. Here are the features of the DIY led fixture I made. Yes the Thunderstorm comes from a soundbox made into the lights. I'm a computer tech so it was easy.

8640 Lumens
Super energy efficient 3 watt high output LEDs
48x 10,000K LED
16x Actinic 460nm LED

Also Features: Will not be used all the time. Just for entertainment purposes lol. Just for the lightning effect.

Total Lumens: 1000
48, 6500K, White LEDs
24, RGB, Full-spectrum LEDs
12, dynamic effects including: cloud cover, fading lunar, storm, lightning, dusk and more
70 Minute Sound Box

What you guys think?

Will look real nice as tank matures and grows out. Nice job. What size acrylic rods did you use?

1/4th inch for smaller rocks and 1/2inch for big ones. Got a good deal on some Masonry Bits also :)

Tried to show my hubby your awesome lighting system I watched the other night but it says it was removed by the user? Is there anything on the market like this?
