first mushrooms arriving today. need newbie advice

I asked for the free red mushrooms with my reeftopia order (which is arriving in a few hours) and realized I have no idea how to handle these things.

I have a rock picked out for them, as I understand they should have their own.

Do I just need to place them on the rock by hand? How long does it take them to attach?

Is there some sort of RO dip or something I should do for them before I put them in the tank?

I can't think of any other questions, but I need whatever newbie info I can get!

Nothing too special about adding shrooms. Just place them in the tank somewhere low. If they are not attached, placing them in a low flow area near rock or on rubble will provide them a place to take root. Good water conditions are needed for them to multiply but light levels can vary from low to high.

I usually take some fish line and lightly tie them on the rock and in a couple of weeks they should be attached.
