fish for 30 gal
what are some fish i can have for a 30 gal tank besides clowns of course

Hara’s site has an excellent list of fish that work for a 30 gal. Stick with “reef safe” fish if you think you might want corals down the road.
I’d try to stick close to 6”-8” total of adult fish for starting out until you gain more experience with keeping sw fish and only add one fish per two weeks if adding directly to the tank. Preferably the use of a QT tank is highly recommended to keep from having to medicate your main tank. Also if you haven’t cycled your tank please do so before adding fish |

i dont mind not having corals because for a very long time i have wanted a flame angel

You could try some soft corals, a lot of people seem to haves success at mixing corals and dwarf angels.
