Fish food training

Hi Guys,

I have a longnose hawkfish which only takes frozen brine shrimp.
I want to get it hooked on new life spectrum pellets.
Any suggestions as to how i can get it used to this?
The pellets drop right infront of it and it doesnt even sniff it.

Make that his only food source. Hunger will set in and you'll be amazed how fast he'll catch on. fish can go a few weeks without food... But I think he'll have switched by then.

You might find out they wont eat pellets. Liveaquaria says "The Longnose Hawkfish diet should include a variety of marine meats, frozen preparations, and live feeder shrimp". If you continue to feed brine make sure it`s vitamin fortified.
