Fission nano-skimmer, anyone gotten one to work??

I can't get this thing to work....when the pump actually puts out bubbles (which seems to have something to do with the alignment of the planets or something arcane), it doesn't skim, it just overflows the collection cup and runs back down into the tank at a pretty good flow rate. I let it do this for several days to see if it would settle down but no luck.

BTW I am a skimmer newbie so it might be something simple....

No, they dont work.

Get skilter 250 and mod it with an air stone for a very effective HOB skimmer that doesnt take up tank space like the fission. I have a post in the nano reefs section detailing how to do this.
