Hi! Just wanted some advice on keeping flame angels as I think they are beutifall fish, I have a 40 gallon tank is this suitable? And are they compatible with Clownfish cleaner shrimp and blue legged hermits? Also what food is best for them?

Hi a 40 gallon would work, and they are compatible with those fish! Im sure you know already that they are hit or miss in reefs so i wont get into that. They prefer meaty foods like bloodworms mysis etc, and most eat pellets too. They are also graze in the tank so provide Nori

Well in its defence i hear that xenia is mighty tasty lol jk

But ya, that is definitly the risk factor in tgis fish..and the reason i have held off on buying one. It can be done for sure, but i'd hate to get attached to a fish, and all my reef just to have to break it down and try and catch the fish!
