Expertise maybe... money .... its cheaper and easier to maintain saltwater i do a 20% water change every Saturday morning that it! On a 6 gallon tank a bag of salt would last almost a year....

I was more referring to the cost of stock/live rock etc

especially compared to the cost of a single Betta!

Thankyou but I've had two goldfish for three months

Maybe once my kids have left home (and take the goldies with them if they're still alive in ten years time :-/ ) and I have space for a bigger tank, then I'll branch out into saltwater. In the meantime I'll drop into our LFS saltwater specialist for a perve every now and then!

Back on topic. I can't wait to set up my EDGE. great looking tank! I got mine half price, great bargain

Its not bad but if crap its the fan it will go fast ... just imagine a snail on your heater turning the heat up just a notch within 30 mins your tank can be at 90 degrees where it would take a bit longer to heat up a 55 for instance..
