This is a picture of a big colony of pulsing xenia in the 55. Note the stalks that are stuck to the glass.
This glass - sticking happened sometime during one night, it wasn't a slow creeping type move like Xenia usually does. THe colony was on a rock when I shut the lights off, then 2 stalks were stuck on the glass next morning when I turned the lights on.
Anyway, Hara found a snail with a big Xenia stalk stuck to it in her tank. The snail drives around with the stuff growing on it. I'm now thinking that her snail would not have needed to park for very long in just the right spot, for the Xenia to move onto the shell.
Anyway just thought I would share. Special thanks to alrm4c for the frag that started this whole colony.
