formula one & formula two pellets for crabs and shrimp

I just picked up from my LFS a HUGE blood shrimp. (or fire shirmp) About 2". I have read that you should drop some pellets every know and then for shrimp and hermits. Do they prefer formula one or two? Or is there something else that I should use?

The mentioned pellets should do fine.
Just drop a few a couple in maybe twice a week. They will also get whatever the fish miss.

I'm not sure they have much preference for what they eat. I don't know about the shrimp, though, but I'll hang out for replies to your question.

its fun to put a few pellets in once in a while. You get to see everyone come scrambling out to grab them.
My hermits, serpent and brittle stars also enjoy them.

my fire shrimp would eat both formula 1 and 2 pellets, and frozen food for that matter, I don't think he really cared as long as it was food.... I never directly tried to feed him, he would just get what ever the fish missed, until he went MIA anyways :-(.
