Fragging a Leather

Well My leather seemed like it was leaning over way too much so I decided to Cut it today after having transferred it to a different tank.. So here is what I did.. I pulled the Coral out and cut off the Head.. I placed the stalk back into the tank... I took the head and cut it into fourths and let it soak in its own container for a bit so it could slime in there and not soo much in the tank.. I placed the 4 cuttings back into the tank In a Tubberware bowl filled partially with sand so that they could heal.. I placed them in the tank in an Area where They could get good flow.. Here is a Few pictures.. After a few hours back in the tank the new cuttings had a bit of polyp extention not the best but they were showing.. Is there any more that I should do?? Are the cuttings on to be in this container not attached to anything?? Or should I attach them now??? Here is a few pics

You can attach them now if you wish or let them grow like that for a while. The cut area will heal over and they will slowly start to grow again. They will slowly start to attach to th esand they are sitting on over the next week or so as they heal up.
