I have a 55g. I just made a Frankenstein fixture out of two. The new creature has a 250w MH (15k), 2 x 54w Actinics, 2 x 48w 10ks, and 10 LED moonlights. I am thinking about switching a 10k to a pink/purple.

2 questions:

1. What can I keep under it? Most anything?

2. Should I switch out a 10k for a pink/purple?

And any comments anyone would care to make are welcome.

You can keep anything with just the 2 250w metal halides lol.

There is only 1 Halide and the 10ks are 54w not 48w.

Oh, do the t5s have individual reflectors? Does the metal halide has it's own reflector?

1 reflector per t5 pair and the Halide has a reflector.

they t%s were enough to light up a 55g and grow whatever you want if you get quality lamps like ATI
