Posting this for a friend of mine without net access.

He recently bought a french angel, and he's sizing up some of the stars, and xenias, but has not actually nipped anything.

My research on this is conflicting, some says they're ok, some say not recommended.

Are angels in general reef compatible? (He also wants an Imperator)

Thanks in advance.

well, thanks for the advice...yes after further investigation, most angels (even dwarfs) will eat about 30% of the corals he has in there....he has nipped zooanthids, a finger leather, and 2 out of 3 colts...

He is now contemplating setting up a 180 gallon, fish only for angels, groupers, butterflies and other large fish.

see other post... *sigh* :(
