frogspawn drop-off

I had a three headed frowspawn... one head fell off after an emerald crab wouldnt leave it alone, one i traded away, and one i kept. Today while i was moving some rock, i found a mini frogspawn stuck in the back of my tank. It has no skeleton yet, just the head/tentacles

Do you think this is a bud off of the head i have left, or is it the head that fell off?

will it grow a new skeleton?

Could be either, and if it isn't stressed by other critters, and water conditions remain good and stable, it can surely grow a skeleton

I have grown a full size many-headed frogsoawn from a "baby" the size of a match head. I agree with RR. Sounds like your emerald crab may have other ideas though.
