Frozen Fish Food Question

Hi,

I accidentally left my frozen fish food out and it has completely thawed overnight, but still cool to the touch (not room temp). So, is it safe to refreeze it and feed it to my fish or is it ruined and should I throw it out? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Brandon

Welcome to AA
Never had this happen but I imagine if it was still cool to the touch that it might be OK. But I`m sure others will say better safe than sorry. I just dont know. Sorry

I haven't done that with my frozen food but I did do it with my Phytoplankton....I ended up throwing it out.

I guess you could use the smell test...if it doesn't smell to horrible, I guess it might be ok.

Good luck.

That happened to me too. I didn't risk it - threw it out and bought more. I like my fish too much to try.

I would pitch it, not worth the risk IMO.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Looks like I throw it out and just buy some new food. Thanks again.
