I just bought some formula 1 frozen cubes for my new tank. I know to thaw them for 30 minutes and then mash it between my fingers into the tank, but exactly how much should i feed? I only have 2 fish (damsels) in the tank.

I'd say no more than 1/4 of the cube, maybe even less. That's what I've been doing for my 1 clownfish and it was a bit excessive (but at least I knew my shrimp and crabs would have something to eat)

Add a little at a time and stop after a couple minutes total of feeding. Be sure to remove any uneaten food to avoid algae problems.

I just fed and it took a lot less than i thought. i cut off about 1/6 of the cube and ony used about a fourth of that. I figured i would have to use more but it took them 5 minutes to eat it all.
