Fuge rubble?!

What is the point of adding a couple more pounds of live rock in The form of rubble to your system? I never understood this? Is it a safe haven for copepods?

Yes it's all beneficial, how do Copepoda live in main tank, also it more biological filtration which is awsome to have

The more surface area the better the beneficial bacteria grow and your pods will find homes in the rock as well. It's a win win situation.
