Full Moon Affecting Fish Habits??

My LPS told me that when there is a full moon out you will notice the corals open up more and the fish shiver b/c that is when they mate? Any truth to this? Thanks

Well IMO this is "the" ultimate goal for any reef aquarist, sexual reproduction... When anyone can reach to the point of successfull sexual reproduction with corals then that means you have reached maturity of your tank and almost perfect water conditions. But I might add that it is quite difficult to achieve... But not impossible so that's why this hobby is so rewarding at times.
