Funny Odd Wierd Worm Looking Thing on glass

I was watching how fast my snails move around and hoping that i might be able to find my noisy shrimp that i believe i have when i noticed this thing crawling on my glass.. I can't seem to find out what he is but he sure is an ugly interesting looking thing.. With antennas all over the bottom of it...

TIA,
James

PS I hope this is a pretty good pic

I had something similar to that on the glass of my sump this morning. It was much smaller, though, and all its tentacles were clear/white, and like silk thread. It was definately using the tentacles (50 or so) to move around, and had a small <1/4" tube-like body in the center. The tentacles spread out to a diameter of about a silver dollar. I think theh are similar, but i have no other ideas on the matter.

Looks like a spaghetti worm (terebellid) from this vantage point. Here is a good article:

>>Reefkeeper's Guide to Invertebrate Zoology: Part 10: Sedentary Polychaetes, Con't.<< -- scroll to the section on Terebellidae.

Here's a pic of one:

Lot's of pictures here:
