went to an LFS today, and for the first time saw a garlic extract product, garlic guard by sea chem, was the last bottle so I thought I'd snatch it up as I never see any anywhere! Got to the till, was about to enter my pin and looked at what I think is the expiration date, not sure tho, (see pic). Mentioned it to the owner who was taking the money and he went "so it is, just take it" and gave it to me, cool huh?!

Anyway, if it is the expiry date it's almost a year out of date, what're people opinion on using it? To be honest I'm not going to I'm gonna get some online now, it's not worth the risk considering I've not even paid for it, would just be a shame to waste it as it is quite expensive stuff.

Any thoughts?

IME prepared garlic products like that are only good for appetite enhancement, not the other properties of fresh garlic like killing parasites. I wouldn't use anything that is expired.
