Hi, tomorrow I'm purchasing a large plastic bin to store my r.o in. My question is can I mix salt in it straight away or would you do it the night before? I will be running a power head and heater in there also.

I wouldnt get a RO bin and mix in that bin. Get two seperate bins one to store water and one to mix when needed. I use 20 gal brutes.

I buy the r.o from lfs in 2 25l containers I was gonna fill the bin then mix salt and heat etc.

That'll be fine. Depending on the salt type and ambient temp of the room, you may not need to use a heater to mix, just a strong PH or pump.

It will be out in my shed, so I will definitely need my heater. Should I add salt straight away or 24hrs before? Thanks
