How long do you leave GFO in a phosban 150?

They say till your phosphates start going up...
But I have been changing monthly about 2 years never check parameter anymore.

It is used to lower phosphates. You can tell its reached it capacity when your phosphates start to increase which means its time to replace it with fresh GFO.

That's correct when you start using gfo it will reduce phosphates then when # gets back up,Needs to be changed or before.....
