Question, with an auto top off do any of you add your dosing chemicals to the fresh water thats being sprayed in rather than doing say bi weekly additivies. I'm just wondering if I could add my trace elements and calcium to my fresh water and have a little bit prayed in the tank each day rather than adding caps full twice weekly. Seems like it would be a better way to dose but maybe there is reasons for not doing it...

Many ppl do it that way. It just takes a while to figure out the right amounts. If your going to do it that way kalkwasser is the way to go
