Gnats Gnats Gnats...

Since upgrading to MH and because our landlord provided us with crappy window screens, I now have gnats all over my computer room walls next to my tank. Also, there are dead gnats all over the surface in my tank and kamikazee gnats crash landing every second. Does anybody think there could be any ill effects from gnats getting in the tank or should I just consider this live food and extra protein?

Well assuming someone eats them, then NP. Yet I wouldn't want to have them in my tank. Its nothing you should worry about though IMO. Even if there not eaten, they will be broken down eventually.
