Goby/pistol shrimp

Will a yellow watchman goby and pistol shrimp pair up? I heard that they could but the guy at my lfs said they wouldn't...

Depends on the shrimp.make sure you have the right one. My buddy's shrimp keep killing his goby 2 gobys later he found out his shrimp was a killer.
