Goby slime question

Do all gobies have the protective "slime" that helps them fight off parasites or is it just certain ones?

I would love to touch it.. But I'd like to say no.. The only gobies I have had experience with are the golden head sleepers and I have never seen any type of slime on their bodies..

No fish or goby is completely resistant to parasite afflictions. Some merely have a greater resistance (innate resistance) giving the appearance of immunity. The opportunity to infect the display tank is just the same....
