I would get some leather coral. And I would get a. Assortment of zoanthids, and I would get some lps like euphyllia brains or depending on your flow lighting and if your parameters are all good. Then you could try your hand in sps

If you are spending $500 on your whole set up, craigslist will help you save lots of money. If its $500 on corals Im no help. Im a freshwater guy haha.

just be sure you cycle your tank before adding any coral or livestock
don't get ahead of yourself
get your tank and equipment
live rock and sand is next
add mixed saltwater and a deli shrimp
let cycle usually any where from 4 to 8 weeks testing daily till you see ammonia spike than check every few days till there is no trace of ammonia or nitrates
than you can think about adding 1 or 2 fish to start pending size of tank
than a month or so later add a few corals
just dont jump the gun thinking fill tank add fish and coral and I'm done
SW is a expensive hobby you cant afford mistakes none of us can
best of luck with your tank
