Well, I started to do alot of waterchanges and all and added alk buffer. So not that long ago I decided to check on my other xenia that has been fighting for its life, and I see it pumping!!! Even though the polyps have alittle white on the tips, and lost their feathers, it has started to pump again!!!! How long exactly till its got its feathers? Im so glad!!! Is it probably because of the waterchanges and tha alk improvement???

Yes and Yes, Whater changes will undoubabtly improve water quality and the alk buffer will rase the alkinity improving PH stability. I also belive that xenia requires a specific range of alkinity for it to be comfortable.

Xenia growth will depend on many number of items but you should start seeing things in a week or so.
