Got a few inverts!

Today, I just got a electric flame scallop, a bright orange baby starfish, and an anemone crab for my healthy carpet!

I'm so jealous! I saw one of those scallops at my lfs and I went back to get it and it was gone. Haven't seen one since Next time I see one I'm getting it!

theres one called an electric blue flame scallop (pretty sure thats the name) it has a blue flap that flashes looks a lot like irredecense very cool

Those Scallops are very hard to care for in captivity. They are filter feeders and generally are unable to get enough in our closed environments. Very pretty to look at, but should really be left in the sea. Congrats on the star and the crab, but be ready for dissapointment with the Scallop.

ya the scallop is doomed sorry to say...
I give him 3 months...
I even spot fed mine...

Maybe feed him FINE invert food under a 2 liter bottle or something to try that way...

I tried so hard to keep em fed that i had a nasty cyno breakout...

You'll have better luck with a bitchin clam...

Might want to rethink the crab too.. heard they are stressful for the anemone.

Had my flame scallops going on 6 month, feed them Phyto often.....

if you perc is being hosted by the carpet the anemone crab might get kicked out.
