green algae
my sand bed is starting to get green spots of algae. and i dont have the ability to post a picture. but it's in little spot's and look's, like fuzzy. and i want to know what it may be and want to get it under control.

sounds like hair algae to me. There are alot of posts on this malady, you might want to do a search.

Yes there is several causes for this algea. Do you use Tap water? How often do you feed? Do you have a skimmer? So many question so little time. Good Luck.
