Yeah I always have carbon, I just know that there is so much other stuff out right now that I did not know if someone might have some type of combination that works for them better then the next. As in different thicknesses of filters, different types of ceramic or bio balls and if polymers are really worth the money. I really appreciate all of your information.

Thank you to everyone who gave their advice and help me fix the algae bloom of the century! This is my tank as of last night when we got back into town! Very relieved ! This forum kicks ***!
