Green on rocks and glass? Please help

Hey guys,

I have a pretty green growing on my rocks. I believe its the start of coralline since on the rock there is starting to be little pinkish purple spots appearing. I am happy with the green growing on the rock i just want it off the glass. Its hard to get off the glass, it wont come off with the magnet thing or wiping away. I got some off using my nails but cant get it all off. Any advice to get it off? Would it be ok to use a NEW sponge just to scrub it all off? Also its starting to grow on my sand is that ok? Thanks in advance for any help

If you have a glass tank (not acrylic) I use a razorblade to scrape coralline with.
