Growing Starfish for Harlequin Shrimp?

Does anybody have experience with raising a few starfish in a separate tank to feed to their harlequin shrimps?

I am thinking of taking the plunge and buying a pair but I do not want to continually buy new starfish. This system of chopping a arm off and rotating among starfish seems like a very good alternative.

Thanks!

The amount you would have to have would be to many to keep fed long enough to regrow lost limbs.

if u have a lfs with a nice enough lr setup u can usually pick up pieces and bait out baby brittles then re sell the lr. That's what a customer of mine at my work does.
