After manually pruning my HA, I got some turbo grazer snails that did an amazing job. I could see a difference hour to hour. My grazers are now about 3 times larger that when I got them (18-20 months ago) and still thriving on the rocks and glass. I haven't seen any HA in quite some time.

I'll tell ya, my blue leg hermits DESTROY any algae that hits my tank. My LR centerpiece had TONS of red macro algae..all gone. I put a big hunk of zoos in, the rock was covered with hair algae...gone in two days. Put a Chiton in that was covered in hair algae, gone in 1 hour. Put a small coco tube worm in with some fan calupera on it...GONE
