Halimeda??

My halimeda plant is turning white. What does this mean?

Halimeda will take on a different appearance when the lights are out and almost look dead, once the lights come one, it colors up pretty quick. What time does it do this or is it turning what all the time? It could have gone sexual and is dead, or simply died. It is common for new halimeda to die off a bit and then make a come back ina few weeks.

The white (if it is dieing) is from the Ca that the plant absorbs. They require alot of light and decent Ca.
