hammer coral

I just purchased a $10 piece of hammer coral. It has 3 dead end branches and one live end. I was wondering if there is anyway to make it sprout a new branch or what I can do to make it grow larger. Thanks again

Put it in your tank and let it grow

If you want you can break off the dead branches or just leave them be. The live head will grow and branch off into multiple heads over time.

So only the live head will branch off? The dead ones will stay dead?
The reason I'm asking is that I want to glue this frag into a crevice hole on a piece of LR in a wall and have it grow out of a vertical run of LR. Is it okay to use the dead branches as glue points in the rock.

Each head is its own unique creature basicly. So if there is no sign of flesh on the other heads then the onlything really left is the calcium skeliton.
