A few months ago I noticed little fuzzy hard thing growing everywhere in my tank. They were on the rock, walls, overflows, ect. So I've been watching these things grow and I'm almost certain now they are pink birds nest babies! I think my coral spawned and now I have little coral growing everywhere! This is the first I've heard of this, anyone seen this before?

I've heard that it can happen in captivity but it is very hard to make happen on purpose! If they really are a bunch of small corals that would be incredible that they survived the open water phase of their early development and managed to set down their polyps. If they grow you will have ALOT of coral to sell! I can't count how many there are. They are starting to branch now which blew my mind. I'll try and get som pics but they are still pretty small, I'll see what I can do...

Here are some phone pics. Not great quality but you get the picture. All the "fuzz" on them are polyps and when I touch them they retract to show the shape of the skeleton. Some are just round but others are starting to show multiple branches. I've picked one off to examine and it sure looks like coral skeleton to me and I've been growing sps for years so I know what it looks like...

Double branch right in the middle of the picture...
