You should check the temp in the AM before the lights come on. There's a good chance it will cool down overnight. Not sure about winter temps in Florida but you should consider that as well. 78° would be about as cool as you'd want a SW tank. If it gets below that or larger than a 1-1½° swing (day/night), I'd suggest a heater.
