Just wondering if anyone has experience with these two corals. Any problems with infections? Did you have any luck keeping the goniopora for an extended period of time?

Both have very poor track records in the aquarium. Goniporas are most likely lacking something in our tanks that is essential for their health and most will die within 18 months, all though there are a very few success stories. Heliofungia are simply too easily injured and they are a single polyp, so once they start to go south...there is very little chance of saving them.

LOL, they die, that is less of being a smart alec than you migh think. Coral diseases are very difficult to diagnose, usually until they start to circle the drain.
