I have a small zoa frag in my 90 gallon. Almost every rock has aiptasia on it and I can't tell if they're any baby aiptasia on the frag. I want to mow the frag in to my aiptasia-free pico, but don't want to spread the aiptasia to it. Any way to know i it's safe or not? Thanks!

Take a syringe and blast them with boiling hot water and the rocks will be free of those pests. I had to do it twice for the stubborn ones.

I have taken aiptasia out of the tank and put a lighter to it and still haven't gotten rid of it... good luck!

Thanks everyone! I think I'll just use aiptasia-x on them, considering that its the only thing that won't harm the zoanthids. I'll need to get some first. Haha. I have one full grown peppermint shrimp and about 15 shrimplets. They must just not like the taste of aiptasia. I'll eventually get some berghia nudi's, but I'd like to do this transfer soon.
