I Bought this piece this morning not sure if its looking too good

Looks fine for a coral just placed into a new home.

It is a bit deflated but that's to be expected. The tissue and overall color look great. I would not leave it in the rock though. These types of corals will do much better on a soft substrate, sand preferabley. The hard surface of the rock will eventually irritate it and may cause necrosis.

What kind of light is on the 35 gal?

HELP

I woke up this morning and it had tons of white strands all over it....Please help

The white strands are sweeper tenticles most likley. That is supposed to happen it's how it defends itself and or attacks other corals competing for space. Again in a new home it most likley is just adopting a defensive posture till it gets settled. Put it on the substrate as per steve-s get a coffee and relax it's all good in the hood.

Agreed, quite normal. The tentacles are also used to capture food and small prey. Typically they will come out at night but sometimes during the day as well. The more settled it becomes, the more often you will see them especially when feeding the fish.

If your not sure, post another pic with the "strands".
