I have a butterfly heniochus. She was a nice add to the tank. Alot of the heniochus that I read about are not reef safe the one I got is reef safe, but is hard to tell. There are two diff type of butterfly heniochus one that's not reef safe and one that is. Mine is a butterfly heniochus D, the D is a scientific name. Well starts with one anyways. The one that is not reef safe is a butterfly heniochus A. Hope this helps.

I have it in a 75Gal tank with about 90lbs of live rock. Yes the tank size is a little small, cause the fish love to dart in and out of areas. Kinda like tangs, but she has been doing great. She loves the current, and Iam proud to say I have had her almost 7months. Also I have never seen her nip at any corals, even my soft corals.

Yay I have a 75 and all the fish I want are small except a yellow coris wrasse so I wanted to do a group of those. So I'm gonna try it. I'm going to hopefully get them as small as possible

Ya no problem. Remember the scientific name indicates if the butterfly heniochus is reef safe. There are two that look just about the same. Well same period.
