hermit crabs

I was just wondering if hermit crabs can hurt sps I noticed today I have one that was crawling all over my acro and I don't know if it can harm it at all

My hermits crawl all over mine and I haven't seen any noticeable effects if that helps any.

if you find it staying on the coral and messing with it constantly I would be concerned but if its just in the course of the day it should be fine. I hate when my hermits do that, always makes me antsy...lol

Yeah he is off of it now but I was worried but it seems fine has its polyps out again so I am not going to stress on it lol thanx for the help
