Hermit crabs

Is there a difference between red legged or blue legged hermit crabs?

I don't believe so... my LFS sells them at the same price/same tank and doesn't really ask which color you want.

For some reason my LFS sells the red legs for more than the blue legs. Not really sure why, maybe they want you to think the red legs are rarer or something, LOL.

Red leggs are more aggresive and larger and so in lfs stores are harder to keep alive to sell before they kill eachother so thats why there more expencive (blue for reef, red for predator tanks is prob best)
